Reliable Equipment & Service Co. is modern and clean tooling, repair, and distribution center servicing the Power and Utility Industry. We are currently looking for full-time Shippers & Receivers to be a part of our growing team. If you are mechanically inclined, this is a great opportunity to learn a new trade. We are willing to train! Shipping & Receiving has many parts that help define their role. Due to the need for cross training an associate may be hired for a specific role and slowly cross trained to be able to help in other areas when necessary. Receiving: Ensure that incoming product is properly labeled and stored. Verify that product is brought in undamaged. Accurately count incoming product and make sure it matches associated purchase order. Help maintain an accurate inventory. Help with annual/bi-annual physical inventory. Picking: Pick orders in a timely manner. Pick orders accurately. Report back to sales with any backorders. Review own orders as well as others. Shipping: Verify product on shipment during packaging. Pack and label product with shipping labels. Process documents through shipping software. Monitor shipping materials and notify management of any shortages. Help maintain an accurate inventory. Help with annual/bi-annual physical inventory..

Responsibility

• Processing and packaging products securely for shipment. Creating and managing shipping documents, including customs paperwork, packing slips, and labels. Shipping goods while ensuring deadlines and documentation standards are met. Managing and collecting freight quotes and entering them in QuickBooks within 24 hours. Receiving goods and entering item receipts into QuickBooks. Removing of invoices and replacing them with the right quotes and ISBN printed off the job portal. Verifying final orders before packaging to avoid shipping errors. Maintaining and using shipping equipment such as printers, scales, and computers. Supporting recordkeeping for inventory and shipping logs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma. Detail Oriented. Ability to accurately count and differentiate and identify product. Ability to lift heavy objects. Basic computer skills. Flexible schedule. Ability to work in a team environment. Hardworking & Dependable.
