Job Description We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Part-Time WordPress Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work on building and maintaining WordPress websites for a variety of clients, focusing on both front-end and back-end development. You will collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure the websites are functional, user-friendly, and optimized for performance. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work remotely. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for translating client requirements into responsive websites and providing ongoing support and maintenance for existing sites. You’ll bring creativity and technical expertise to build custom themes, plugins, and integrations.

Responsibility

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites for responsiveness and optimal user experience. Create custom themes and plugins, tailored to specific client needs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with WordPress sites, minimizing downtime and enhancing user experience. Collaborate with designers and content teams to integrate new features and design elements. Focus on optimizing websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices. Work with project managers to track progress, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results. Ensure ongoing site maintenance, including security updates and regular backups

Qualifications

• Experience in developing WordPress sites, including theme and plugin customization. Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with MySQL and WordPress database management. Familiarity with page builders like Elementor and WPBakery, and applying WordPress development best practices. Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization. Experience with Git for version control. Compensation
Annual Salary: $45,000 – $60,000 USD (Pro-rated based on part-time hours)
Hourly Rate: $25.00 – $35.00 USD
